Or maybe I want to play it by myself and still experience the challenge without some toxic dude online emoting after every kill before I can even get to the boss door, which also has a slew of annoying enemies along the way? Is that too much to ask? It is too much to ask for, because it is part of the game and you are not entitled to force your believe as to how the game should be played on others.ĭid you even meet the guy a second time? Is your thread even relevant anymore? Have you beaten the Gargoyles? You get a timer and can't get invaded again for a short time (maybe except if you are the only guy left in his invading range in that area then you might get invaded sooner), so just repeat what you did. Or maybe I want to play it by myself and still experience the challenge without some toxic dude online emoting after every kill before I can even get to the boss door, which also has a slew of annoying enemies along the way? Is that too much to ask? Was that a surprise? You are playing Dark Souls! Would you have felt better if the guy killed you with a broken straight sword? Because I'm sure he had more experience then you and could have achieved even that!

You can be glad you are playing the remastered version, there are anti twink mechanics implemented, so the guy who invaded you didn't have +15 pyro gloves and similar weapons, he just used the +0 Nito's Greatsword, which everybody can get 20 minutes into the game ones you've gotten familiar with the game's level layout and mechanics.
